  • Injury Prevention for professional athlete

As an elite athlete you know your body very well. After a session I get the feeling that everything has been put back in the right place, benefiting me in training sessions immensely. I get the feeling of being very light, the joints and muscles seem to move more freely especially in running, swimming and fencing.

I have had pelvic instabilities, with the pelvis tilted. These were corrected in one session and I noticed the difference immediately between my sense of balance before and after the session.

In the 12 months I have been using Bowen I have had no injuries of note, so I have not missed any training and I am able to train harder with more confidence. Now Bowen is a key part to my weekly schedule, preferring it to all other methods I have previously relied on.

Lower back pain When i first went to you my lower back was so sore, it was the hips that had me out of wack. The fact that you fixed my back is a miracle for me and I am very grateful.

  • Long standing knee injury
'having suffered for years from a knee injury I tried the Bowen technique with Neil and after only 3 visits my knee improved substantially allowing me to continue and increase my level of exercise'

  • Running injuries and maintenance
I had a spinal injury from a car crash years back and now when I do a lot of running I can get a very sore lower back. One friday before a cross country race I could barely stand up. I had a treatment that evening and was much better, by the morning I would never have known and I ran one of my best races to date. I now have Bowen sessions about once a month which keeps me pains free and in the shape I need to be.

  • Shoulder problem and headaches
I landed on my shoulder whilst skiing which gave me pain for 4 months afterwards. Within a couple of session my shoulder was better. Coincidentally I had been getting headaches whilst working on my post graduate dissertaion and these stopped after the first session as well, I hadn't even noticed until Neil asked how they had been.
