With the winter seasons of football, netball, hockey and rugby getting underway, as well as a number of other sports, it is the time of year when injuries often occur. With my background as a professional sportsman, I understand how important it is for the body to be in the best condition when putting it through the rigours of sport. Where there are muscular and structural imbalances in the body, the stresses of a full 70, 80 or 90 minutes of physical exertion can lead to things going wrong. If there are imbalances, biomechanical efficiency is compromised, meaning you have to put in more effort to achieve the same results. It also makes you more susceptible to injury. As we all know one of the most frustrating things is to be sidelined through injury and it is often preventable. A course of 3 Bowen treatments should improve your structural balance and put you in the best condition for getting the most out of your sport.
