Glen Kotzen Racing 0

In January Neil was asked to work with some of South Africa’s finest race horses at the Glen Kotzen racing stables just outside of Cape Town. Glen’s yard of around 70 race horses is one of the top South African race yards, with Glen winning awards for his training.

Neil did treatments for 7 different horses over the first two weeks of the January this year. Here are a selection of photographs from the visit. The day these photos were taken the temperature exceeded 42 degrees, a slight contrast to the big freeze that we missed.

Bath Half Marathon 2010 0

Bowen Technique used for post race recovery

NGBowen was represented at the Bath Half Marathon yesterday providing treatments for runners coming in after the race. Plenty of money was raised for charity with all payments going straight to The Fire Fighters charity.

With queue’s going out the door for most of the afternoon, treatment was in hot demand for tired and injured legs. Here are just a couple of the comments received:

“That feels so much better; I didn’t think that was possible”
“That really is a lot easier, I was really stuggling to walk after that race”

Well done to all those who ran the race and helped with the massive fund raising event.
